Sheona has a background in the arts and filmmaking and was initially drawn to yoga because it offered internal respite from a busy external environment. After practicing for eight years and experimenting with many different styles, she completed her 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at The Shala, Cape Town.
She is also trained in and teaches both Aerial and Yin yoga. In 2017 she fulfilled her dream to train under Ana Forrest, completing a Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training. Sheona’s classes share her journey to discovering deep inner strength as well as connection to the more subtle aspects of self.
